My mother used to make huge batches of this in Florida and sell it at a charity auction during the holiday season. For every 8 ounce jar she made, some crazy person would pay $15.00 for it! . . . more

With 30 years of cooking experience, a certification in Food and Nutrition, I have been a freelance food writer since 2000. Articles by me have been published at Garden Plate magazine, Home Cooking magazine, Kiwi magazine and Gulf Coast Living magazine. My recipes have won awards from Bon Appetit, Better Homes and Garden, Family Circle, Cooking Pleasures, Light and Tasty magazine, Healthy Cooking magazine and Cook's Country.
